Problem with hawaiiantel.net?

for two days now, every time i send an email to someone with a hawaiiantel.net address, i get an error message. it says that the server interpreted the email as spam or having a virus.

however, if i send the same message via my gmail account, there isn't a problem.

also, if send email to anyone who doesn't have a hawaiiantel.net account, there's no problem.

i checked the honolulu advertiser to see if there was a problem reported but i didn't come across anything.

anyone else have the same problem? just trying to figure this out.

Who is your ISP ? Please PM me the headers of the rejected e-mails. So I can forward it to HT.

I also got that same error message in three attempts to answer an e-mail from my classmate. It's so insulting to be considered a virus or "spam!"

I'll try again later with other friends who are with hawaiiantel.net.

I got word from one of my many contacts at HT, that there was a problem with the spam filter rejecting e-mail from Yahoo Mail. It should've been resolved this AM.

That’s one reason I have my own domain name and email account.

I had heard when Hawaiian Tel was bought out, that it was likely that the new owners would do a few things and sell it in a few years. The Carlyle Group wasn't likely to run it long term. So instead of going from @verizon to @hawaiiantel and risk having to make the change again, I went to @gmail.

Now I can change ISPs on whim.

I've been happy with HT as a "pipe".
