Ahem. Sticking to the topic, I agree with you, Kamapuaa. This was a Windows-centric test. And while I suppose you'll get a lot of that in gauging skills for the common workplace, it doesn't translate into general "computer literacy." There were other problems with the definition expressed earlier.
Of course, talk is cheap. Make-your-own-quiz sites are all over the place. Why doesn't someone try to come up with the HawaiiThreads Computer Quiz, version 2.0?
1. What is the control panel, and what can you do with it?
a. a way to do administrative tasks to your account
b. a place you can go to see who's online
c. a place I can control what others do on this site
2. If you have a question about this site, where can you go to get answers to frequently asked questions quickly?
a. start a new thread on the forum
b. Instant message or private message a forum member and ask them
c. go to the "FAQ" section of the HT banner
3. How can I find out if someone I know is also a member of HT?
a. Ask that person
b. Click on "Members List"
c. I don't want to know who's a member
4. How do I find out if any special events for HT forum members are happening?
a. start a new thread on the forum
b. I'm antisocial and don't care what might be going on
c. go to the HT "Calendar"
5. What if I only want to read posts I haven't read yet?
a. click on the thread I want to read and scroll down to the last reply
b. I don't want to read anything; I just want to post.
c. click on "New Posts/Unread Posts"
6. What if I know there was a thread about a topic in the past that isn't current but I want to review/post to it?
a. I'm too lazy. I'll just start a new thread and let the Administrator figure out where to put it.
b. click on "Search" and put in a keyword(s)
c. ask a forum member if they can remember what the name of the thread was
7. What would I do if I wanted a quick reference guide to all the things I can do with my HT account?
a. I didn't know I could do anything more than post or read items
b. I don't care; don't bother me
c. click on "Quick Links"
Of course, this might open up a Pandora's box for Ryan as members become more acquainted with the features and functionality of their HT accounts...they might ask for even more!

Sadly, you have to register at the site, but it's pretty painless. It's 20 questions, and I tried really hard to take it easy and avoid questions like "Which of the following Silicon Grpahics systems utilized a crossbar architecture". Lemme know how you guys do, should you choose to take it.
--> Addendum: I noticed a couple of spelling errors, sorry about that. Also, it randomizes the answers, so some of the "all of the above" ansers seem to be placed strangely. =P
This took a lot more time than I thought, so I'm not going to mess with it anymore.
