Alas, you can't totally escape from AM signal interference, whether you're in a moving vehicle or walking around inside a building.

I also can't hear AM stations in stores with an Electronic Dept. such as Don Quijote or Walmart. I can hear the stations in supermarkets.

So are you hearing static or some other kind of noise? By any chance is the inside of a hybrid bus has more noise than the older buses?
