  • Download interrupted

Until 2 months ago I had no issues dl'ing music files, and usually still don't, except for one particular site and it's nearly impossible to complete a dl, I usually get the message - This download was interrupted. Why would my favorite site suddenly be so problematic? I run VISTA, have 3 good free anti-virus systems that say there's nothing wrong, and even if I try to dl while sleeping and have everything closed out so nothing interferes, it still usually fails. I googled and couldn't find anything addressing my particular problem.

I'll play with it when I get home and see if I get similar results.

Some have similar issues @ 101, but most seem not to. I can dl virtually anywhere else with almost no troubles, especially well with mediafire, whereas the popular filefactory is most problematic.

            Re: Download interrupted

I checked out the site at www.netcraft.com and they appear to be hosted
            by amazon.
After the takedown of megaupload the admins at filefactory are probably
            a little nervous.
netcraft is a British computer security firm and their website has a handy feature
            for checking things out.
For example, if one checks out Whitehouse.gov one will see they are hosted
            on linux servers.
