The Importance of a Good Tripod

Many of the new video camcorders offer very long range telephoto options.

When using these options it is almost mandatory to use a tripod of

some sort to support the main camera.

As magnification of the image goes up, so goes hand held jiggle.

Wide angle optics make the background recede faster than a normal perspective.

The depth of field of a wide angle lens is greater but the depth of focus is less, paradoxically.

A good tripod makes ones video more marketable.
