Does anyone use this as a standalone mail program? I have a Verizon account which I've always shoveled into Eudora, but someone set me up with a new one through their company for use within the firm. I just tried to send an attached Excel file using it, and the webmail doesn't (can't?) identify worksheet files. I looked at the tutorial and it makes no mention of any attachments other than photos and documents (meaning WP, apparently).

Is it just me, or is the program that stupid?

When you browse to include for your attachments, is set to "all files"?

Yup. In fact, that's the only choice in the drop-down menu.

That's right. Three Word files in the folder show up fine, but no .xls file.

Can you see the files through other means, like from "My Computer" or "My Documents"?

And if you do do you see the files with the .xls at the end?

Oh, from the browse window, when you find those Word files are they listed with the .doc at the end?

              1. Yes. In fact, I sent it using a different e-mail address, and the attachment directories and file names clearly show it as having the .xls extension.

              2. See above. It's there, no question. I've been updating it all month.

              3. In Verizon mail the file extensions aren't reflected.
