Here's another reason why you need to make sure you keep your antivirus software updated and your spam blockers tuned up: it's called a "ransom trojan" and what it does, if it infects your computer, is it locks up your systems unless you send payment to a website that the hacker posts in his "gotcha" message.

Right now, only Squishie systems are impacted, but those Russian hackers might get bored and want to start playing with OSX systems, too.
