New PSP ad

here's the new PSP ad that sony is putting up in Holland (yes, Europe, not the US).

I'll try to find a news source for it, but I thought it was interesting. (sorry you have to click on it, but I don't know who's on dialup here, and I don't want to ruin their day.)

As a bit of background, there's a flurry of commentary in the reliably excitable blogosphere that this advertising image is racist. (A white woman has an aggressive grip on a black man's face.) I think Sony just took a page out of the Abercrombie & Fitch marketing playbook and realized the best advertising is the advertising that whips people into a frenzy.

I can't wait to see their ad for the forthcoming yellow PSP!
