  • HawTel Dropping USF Fee

The Honolulu Advertiser had an interesting article
    on this today.

Hawaiian Telcom high-speed Internet customers soon could be saving nearly $3 a month on their phone bills.

That's because the Federal Communications Commission has eliminated a monthly fee on digital subscriber line, or DSL, services.

      Re: HawTel Dropping USF Fee

Last month my phone bill was like $48, and then like close to $20 in taxes! What is with all the taxes? They take up like a half a page of my bill. Any explaination to the different taxes would be great.

I'm sure if you "Google" what the taxes are you'd find out what they are
