(from the Apple Announcements thread): After spending all that dough on a Mac, I am reluctant to drop another couple hundred for a full copy of Windows to install and run under Boot Camp or Parallels. Crossover Mac is supposed to run Windows programs without needing Windows itself, so I'm waiting for that -- or even better, for its free cousin, Darwine.
CodeWeavers released a Crossover Mac 60-day beta version about a month ago. I downloaded and tried it last night and it seems to work OK, at least for what I need. If Darwine doesn't come through, then I'm definitely buying this when the final version is released.
