How big are the holiday computer sales this year?

I got off the phone with a lady who was looking to us to repair her desktop because of the power surge from the earthquake, and I somehow told her about the holiday computer sales, with laptops going for $400. I guess I remembered that Best Buy, Walmart and CompUSA had sales like that last year.

Anyone got any scopes on some sales this year?

with desktops under 300$ and laptops under 500$ (dell) without holiday sales I expect we're either going to see really good deals, or current deals wrapped up to look really good.
