CHIP FIRM AMD will make further price cuts on desktop microprocessors on the 12th of February a week before it's due to formally announce the Athlon 64 X2 6000+.

*wishes they had still sold s939 processors*

AMD is desperate to better compete with Intel.

I've always liked my AMD processors that I've had. My latest one included (A64X2 3800) Funny thing... I always thought that AMD's were just as good as Intels but I found an old article yesterday on CNET that pinned dual core processors and AMD won hands down. It's a shame their marketing isn't as good as intel.
