You can't get Eudora to work Gmail? When Verizon got sold to become HawTel, some people where saying this wouldn't be forever, that the Carlyle(sp?) Group was going to do something and sell it off. I also didn't like the idea of giving away my location to some of my email groups. So I went from Verizon to Gmail. So next time I change ISPs (or they change on me) it's painless. I use Outlook/Gmail combination. What's nice is that I can send mail from any network without having to play with my SMTP settings. I can't see why Eudora wouldn't work.

No, no, Eudora handles Gmail fine. It's just that my initial correspondence with the person I needed to hear from was with my HawTel address, so I had no indication whether she'd replied or not. I had to use Gmail to get back in touch with her, because she only had the one address, and it wasn't working.
