I know this is going to sound like a stupid question, but is there a way to use a firewire modem to connect to dialup through the phone line?

Re: Firewire Modem to Phone Line?
The only reason to use something like firewire for a modem is if it's a high-speed modem, like DSL or cable. Dial-up is so slow that USB 1.x would do the job.
I don't know of any computers that have Firewire and no USB, but then I don't know Apple.
