What resolution do you use?

Just wondering what monitor resolution everyone is using. i'm trying to see if the higher resolutions (1280 and up) are starting to be more popular.

also is it widescreen or regular?

Personally i use a 23" 1920x1080 display, but i need to with my photography

desktop: 1280x1024

laptop: 1280x800

Hopefully I can get a new monitor from Santa or my birthday (September 24)

My monitor never keeps resolutions; therefore it never bothers to make them.

"Native". It's the only way to use LCD displays.

In the case of my laptop, that's 1024 x 768

The native res for my lcd monitor is 1680 x 1050. So that what it be.

1600x1200 on my 21" CRT monitor at work (I use AutoCAD) and a widescreen format on my 21" widescreen at home. Don't know offhand, will edit my post later as to the res at home.

1440x900 on my MacBook Pro. Sometimes I miss my old 800x600 display. Everything is so much smaller on this! But it's nice to be able to have multiple windows/programs open without crowding.

Oh, I forgot, I run two monitors with the same resolution. Dual monitors FTW!

I'd Love to have dual monitors at work! That would be sweet to work with CAD that way. I'd have SO much drawing space cause all my icons would be on a single line on top

Dual monitors for CAD is the way to go. Don't know what kinda CAD work you do but for mechanical drawing (ductwork, piping, etc.) You can have one in 3D and one in 2D. Use the 3D one to visualize interferences and such.
