Application Icons
This year we upgraded to Adobe Creative Suite 3 (CS3), which includes the latest version of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro. With that Adobe changed the application icons to a uniform "Table of Elements" design.
I like it. It's easy to find in my OS X dock. The previous Photoshop 6.0 icon, with the eye looking through the magnifying glass was a nice design, as was the illustration of Venus in Illustrator 10, but the new Table of Elements design for all the aps is clean and simple, and easy to identify each one.
The current QuarkXPress v6.5 Lotus flower icon is kinda' lame, but better than the previous one. We're slowly trying to switch from Quark to InDesign, but haven't fully embraced it yet.
For our servers, we have Anime character icons. My hard drive is a picture icon of me in one of my Halloween costumes.
