  • Vote Republican radio ad

Heard a radio ad at work on Monday, it could have been on KSSK but I am not sure. It starts out that in 1954 Eisenhower was President, I Love Lucy was the top TV show and Democrats were in control of the state legistature. However Hawaii didn't become a state until 1959.

At that time, we also staged a record number of CIA orchestrated coups propping up dictators, which led to several revolutions fueled on anti-USA sediment (the most prominent being Iran)

That is true. Hawaii was not a state until August 1959. The Democrat majority at the Legislature began with the so-called revolution of 1954.
