    Re: Ed Case's congressional seat

I thought I heard something to that effect a couple of weeks ago.

So, any thoughts on the many others who've declared intentions to succeed Case? Last I read, many more had "said" than formally "filed." Is that still the case?

            Re: Ed Case's congressional seat

I love Lee Cataluna! Last Sunday she wrote a column about how Ed Case had outlined the Top 10 things his successor for his Congressional seat should have. And surprise surprise surprise! The only person who seems suitable to be Ed Case's replacement is...ED CASE! The only criteria he seems to be slightly lacking is "long term commitment to the job".

Numberswise, it is no longer the “case.” *LOL* I still remember when Ed first ran for the State House against Toni Worst. It was truly a “Worst-Case” scenario. *ROFLMAO!* I see Quentin has miraculously recovered from the “health problems” that yanked him out of his last Congressional run.

Okay, all kidding aside, even with all these people running, the heavyweights are still undeclared. Colleen Hanabusa, Matt Matsunaga, Quentin Kawananakoa. As far as I’m concerned, the only candidate with papers filed that has any chance against these big dogs is Mazie Hirono.

The rest are marginal or no-name candidates. More than one candidate will crucify Ron Menor on the Gas Cap Bill.

We can’t be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans.

Honolulu Prosecutor Peter Carlisle said he's thinking about running on Perry and Price this morning. Opinions?

He's thinking about running on Perry & Price? Kind of a limited campaign, then.

Perry and Price afford a very comfy joggin surface, I hear.

Unless he has health problems again, he'll make an official announcement on Sunday, April 23, 2006 around 1PM.

Wow. Wouldn't that be too cool, though? Imagine having an ali'i representing the people of Hawai'i again. I hope that he has his medical conditions under control now.
