I always like Hale'iwa brand. Be aware of the different-colored twisty ties used to close the bag, the colors correspond to the day of the week that the poi was delivered to the market. Some people like their poi as fresh as possible, others like it a bit older and more fermented. Me, I wait till it turns kinda pale colored and starts to bubble.

What is a good brand of poi available in stores? Are there any particular things I should look for? Thanks!
