Chili - just about any kind, altho' I found a recipe in a Sunday newspaper insert a couple of years ago that's got great ingredients (including a little dill). Takes a while to "assemble" (as opposed to "cook"), but mo' ono for the extra effort.

Favorite comfort meal....roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans.

That one has a story, from my flight nurse days. The provision of this meal strengthened my belief that there are no coincidences in life.


Rice straight from my rice cooker (cooked with a little salt and butter) runs a very close second.

Pizza is the best.

Yes! That’s my comfort food. Chicken soup (any kind), saimin, ramen, miso, Portuguese Bean Soup, corn chowder ... I love them all! They soothe and comfort me. They make me happy!

And I also like pizza!

I like just about anything that can be found in a bakery: bread, donuts, pastries, cupcakes, cookies, cake. Doesn't always have to be chocolate.
