Bought myself a Roaster Oven (countertop) and am using it for the first time today. I'm roasting a whole chicken stuffed with a half lemon and a whole head of garlic, seasoned with french sea salt, fresh ground pepper, herbes d`provence and juice of 1/2 lemon. I just added about half pound of fresh green beans, lemon juice and zest to roast along with the chicken. If it tastes even slightly as good as it smells, I'm gonna be a very happy camper in about an hour!

Big pot of vegetable soup simmering in the crockpot. Sample tastings are promising and a bit fiery thanks to some large Jalapeno peppers I added to the potatoes, celery, and tomatoes.
chicken and the Provencal braising sauce from Williams-Sonoma are currently simmering away in my crockpot. I added a little french sea salt, fresh ground pepper and some french lavender to it. planning on serving with some polenta/parm cheese and my favorite sauvignon blanc wine.
Albert, your soup sounds really good!
