Tibet?? Holy cow...that's really out there! I always thought that area was so politically sensitive to China that it was difficult for just about anybody to get into it. That is something!

It's actually fairly easy to get into Tibet these days, especially if like me you go with a tour group. There are lots of permits involved but it is doable. We did have to leave Lhasa a couple of days earlier than planned because President Hu was in town and the gov't ordered all foreigners to leave town... Otherwise I enjoyed Tibet and China(Sichuan-ono spicy food!) and hope to go back someday.

I stay away from any type of seafood. Also, I don't like olives or cucumbers. Would never eat veal.

I have eaten Dog, Cat, Snake, Armadillo, Monkey, Horse, Frog, Moose, Deer, Wild Rabbit, Pigeon, Quail, Wild Boar & White Eel. Termites and Ants when I was a kid. Oh yeah and I forgot Rat......Taste like stringy chicken!
(In Asia anything goes!!!)

My saying is: If it moves I ate it before.

BUT I REFUSE TO EAT: Liver, Brains or any other Internal Organs! Wahoo or Bugaong, Balut or Anchovies!

In Thailand I ate Giant Roaches and Crickets BUT NEVER AGAIN!

Pass me all your brussels sprouts though, they're my favorite. Halved and grilled a tiny bit golden brown outside, and sprinkled with a little gorgonzola and balsamic vinegar...mmmm...
