Most folks eyes (irises) are shades of brown. No I'm not talking about jaundice.

Northern types, Nordics and their kin often have blue eyes, and some from the misty isles have shades of green, or green
mixed with blue.
Beautiful eyes.

Some of us who are mixed ethnicity have eyes known as hazel: a mix of brown and gray, as me and my mum do. Since the Mongol
raids upon Eastern Europe, it's not hard to find people with epicanthic eye folds, hazel eyes and similar features on even American immigrants.

Eye color:
Brown (in different shades)
Blue (again, light or dark, bright or subdued)
Hazel (nice matches of brown and gray, usually)
Green (sure, an begorrah!)
Gray (Like Athena, and my mum)
Violet? (It was said Elizabeth Taylor had violet eyes, but, I never got close enough.,.. you know)

Red? -- no
Orange -- no

Yellow? OOPS! I met ONE person with yellow eyes in my life. NO she was NOT a demon, but a nurse! She tended carefully to my injuries, in a hospital (for 3 months after my motorcycle accident in 1970), told me she had a boyfriend, so "Back off!" (she was quite beautiful), and her name was "Angel."

I have not since met a person with yellow eyes. I wish her well. She took good care of me. She was a wonderful person, and I miss her.
I'd like to know if anyone else has had a similar encounter.

Figured I'd interject here... that the most beautiful eyes I've seen personally were an INCREDIBLE GREEN! A lovely Swedish lady. Just Wow!

Now if we're talkin' my favorite eyes to look at?
My wife's of course! Over twenty years now. That's REAL Wow!

Have seen Hazel eyes which have some yellow within.

Well, I've never seen anyone with yellow eyes, but I once knew a person (with very pretty blue eyes) that claimed her deceased mother had yellow eyes. I've often wondered what they looked like.

Are you sure your nurse wasn't wearing colored contacts??? Or were you tripping on pain meds? Just sayin.
