I wanted to open a place called "Miso Hungry". Had a few months where I was into making all kinds of miso dishes.

Also thought of a restaurant called "Idunno". The commercial would be:

    "Eh, wea u like grind?"
    "I dunno"
    "Shoots! Let's go!"

I had a pic somewhere of a sign fronting an oriental restaurant that was named Phat Phuc (pronounced FAT FOOK) .

During my druken college daze, I frequented a couple of watering holes in San Diego, Winter's and Prince O' Wales. Winter's was known for their progressive Thursdays where beer started at .25 cents and raised a quarter by the half hour, and known for some drinks like Gorilla's Farts.

The later of the two watering holes was our mellowing out English Pub in Downtown San Diego. Fridays, we had English karaoke while sobering up with some Guinness and John Courage Ale and washing them down with some picked eggs. Yum!

I dig that Club "New Office".

"I called the office but you didn't answer"
"Oh, you called the old office, I was at the 'NEW Office' "

    Other favorite....Club "Next Door"

Oh! And I almost forgot the Pig & Pie, BBQ/Bar. For several years I was in charge of food for the company picnic. I would get both Pig & Pie bbq and Jack's bbq (the best in Nashville but Perfect Pig best in TN but too far from picnic). Co-workers loved me!

[QUOTE=nachodaddy]I will save ya jdub. The Elbow Room, Dutch Harbor Alaska. Cool name in itself however......

Wow there was an Elbow Room long ago in a bowling alley. It was either at the Boulevard Bowl on Dillingham across Oahu Prison(OCCC) or Kapiolani Bowl at the corner of Kapiolani and Ward.

    Gotta come to Kona.

We got Pot Belly Deli AND a bar called The Office. Complete with a rolltop desk, mail slots, and a rotary telephone.
