All right, we're not going back for New Year's after all! Yay! I vote for a random middle of January party. Something to look forward to after Christmas.

Dang! My conflicting event ended early so I stopped by to make a surprise visit and bend Ryan's ear about something only to find the place had just closed.

Apparently the rains had hit the restaurant rather hard. They said it wasn't safe and said more is on the way. I only got as far as the front door so I couldn't see what they were talking about.

As or New Years ... I see more conflicts. Like with anyone wanting to see Foreigner or th Bangles. Maybe a New Year's recovery party?

Okay, the rain sucks, but I'm glad we're rescheduling! We have visitors from the mainland right now, and I totally wanted to go. But we leave at 8am on New Year's Eve to go pick up our dogs, so I hope it's not rescheduled for then...

Sorry to hear you folks are getting drenched again - I was thinking about you all earlier, while I was out. As we headed home, it began to snow here in Seattle - we're in for the weekend, fortunately, so we can watch it fall. Next week, icy temperatures (in the teens)! Hope your deluge ceases soon.

I checked earlier and read that it was cancelled, also received e mail from Lynn. I was planning to stay indoors anyway, hopefully this can be rescheduled in the near future.

I sent him an email. Hopefully, he gets.

And taking Lucy and Lomi someplace cause she's grumbling too much.

    Don't know where yet.

Thanks, Lynn. Sent out an e-mail to everyone who RSVPd.

I know you and P.K. know, and I presume Lucy as well? I reached Scrivener, Joe, and Sophie so far via Twitter. Hopefully alohacandy, Melody and SeekingPenance, too, but I'm not sure.

Anyone know how else to reach AbsolutChaos and Dennis?

It's best and safer for everyone to be at home in this weather. We can always reshedule.

Mahalo and Happy Holidays to ALL!

If La Mariana says it's bad, it's probably even worse. And the same reasons they'd be panicking is probably affecting most other folks on the island today. I say we cancel. Which makes the primary challenge contacting everyone.

The weather is awful!! I can't seem to talk my BF into going out in this floody, soaking storm. I'm definately not driving anywhere by myself, either.

Sorry, I gotta vote for a reschedule.
