Shoots...wish they had that easy to remove adhesive. Coulda used a couple for peace of mind at my house sitting gig last night after I called 911.

Don't peel the paper off the adhesive strip, just use 'sticky tack', 'blue tac' or something similar on the backs and place the things near the floor instead of up high. If the sticky tack lets go on one side it may not go off if it's not totally separated from it's partner side like with the door opening.

Get some of those magnetic stick on door alarms for kid escape proofing your house...like this:

Stick it on the doors before you leave. If you come back and find a stain on the floor you know you scared the piss out of a human intruder.

Did you buy the house or are you renting it? It might be an obnoxious landlord or house manager type person. They won't steal from you but get some perverse pleasure from gas lighting folks.

We bought. And I did try those alarm thingies, but the way our door jams are, they don't work. It's hard to explain.

I'm still baffled. Twilight? Twice in one night? Really?

A crap load of bells and metal chime tubes tied together on a sting would work too.

Tie the string to the door and drape the bells over the back of a chair placed so there's no slack. The door get opened and it'll pull the bells off the chair with a hella racket.

Might want to invest in a motion activated nanny cam. See what's running around while you're out. I wonder if a rodent could tap dance the remote buttons into buying Twilight.

They do have lots of babies at once that they carry on their backs. Perhaps it was a matter of "If you kids don't quiet down back there, I'm going to pull this...me...over and there will be NO Twilight! None!" And it quieted them right down, so Mama sat thru it twice just for the peace.

One of the good things about having a satellite TV system is that you can remove the card from the front slot to disable the box completely.

Well, I am pleased to announce that we were out of town all weekend and no movies were purchased. Of course, I put the parental lock on, so I guess we'll never know. But it saves us $4.99.

Our friends get to watch for free though. Somehow their cable is crossed with one of their neighbors' and so they can see what their neighbors are watching on DVR. It rewinds, fast-forwards...sometimes plays things over and over again. Someone watches a lot of kiddie shows, and someone in the house watches a lot of porn. We always have fun playing, "What are they watching today?" when we go over there. And they have no clue which neighbor it is.

Think about it:
this could be the explanation for the EARLIER-MENTIONED PROBLEMS.....

Perhaps some 'wires are crossed' and billing is distributed to the 'most obvious,' or 'most recent' subscriber....

There was another occurance of...who/whatever...trying to buy a movie! Luckily, he couldn't get past the parental lock, so I came home to the "You have exceeded your spending limit of $0.00" screen, but the remote was put up and no one was home. Sadly, I can't remember which movie it was this time.
