        Re: Internet Explorer

It's rogue advertising that tries to force you to buy the antivirus (it's a fake to get your cash) program. The kids have gotten it on their machines before.

        Try this:

        Here's the Malwarebytes site:

The free version of a2 (a squared) will remove it as well:

          Re: Internet Explorer

I get the occasional "Error on page" message in the bottom left, and some of the hyperlinks or java applications don't open. A refresh of the page usually fixes that, but it gets to be inconvenient if it's on a bad luck run of every website.

I've been unable to open PDF files thru IE8 lately. Once in a while it will open one up, then when you try to open up another it says I need to go to Manage Add-ons and enable Adobe PDF. I try but it's already enabled! Next stop: Firefox!

Switch to Google Chrome. It's by far the fastest and most reliable browser I've yet seen.

I'm just about ready to get there. I hesitate because Google products tend to pull information about your quearies. I know Chrome is great for Facebook, however Firefox has been decent enough for me.
