    50th STATE FAIR 5/27-6/26, 2011

    I still want to know why the 50th State Fair doesn't come to the neighbor islands.
    Life is what you make of it...so please read the instructions carefully.

      Because the fair organizers don't think enough money will be generated to make such an event profitable.

          Well, maybe those who are in the outer islands, & is interested in the 50th state fair, & have enough $$ to travel to Oahu, maybe can come to visit, & enjoy the 50th state fair too . I am sorry they are not able to go to the outer island, Maybe Frankie is right about one thing...

            I went there yesterday because it was the only day that the fair was open from 12:00PM. Saturday and Sunday it doesn't open until 4:00PM and it's just as well because it was really slow yesterday. At the bumper car ride the wait between rides were pretty long because there were a lot of empty cars. I guess the economy has a lot to do wuth the operating hours.
