OK, being new to the islands...can you eat the coconuts that fall from trees? How long are the "good" for? My daughter is just fascinated by them so we split one open but were afraid to try it.

hey; if an alien eats a coconut, to him it tasts like chocolate. If we ate an alien some say it tasts like chicken. If a chicken at an alien coconut he would say it tasts like rattlesnake.

One of the advantages of having coconut trees is having the trees trimmed and eating the young fruit; soft, like custard. Oh yummmmm! One of the disadvantages of having those trees?
