Heheh. It definitely has a different look. I kinda like the original way I did it a little better actually, but I can see the merit in the way you cropped it too.

    A few more....

Laupahoehoe (Big Island) . Violent Waves crashing on lava...Awesome!

Punalu'u Black Sand beach...me and the misses goofing around. That black sand is just sooo neat.

I honestly can't think of another place i'd rather be on vacation other than Hawaii. One day it will be a second home. I love South Kona, it just may be there.

Here's some of my fave spots...

All from my most recent hawaii trip in December.

Pu'u O Honaunau (sp?) Place of refuge park.

a fave shot for obvious reasons....

Kona Sunset....this shot is faulted by the road construction barrier, but otherwise, I love this one, and Kona has AMAZING sunsets...

Early A.M. Kailua Beach....to think some of you lucky b*stards actually live here...

This is not precisely a vacation spot, but it is certainly one of my favorite places to go on a whim if I need to get out in nature... Forest Park. In particular, this is in Hoyt Arboretum.

This is a photo I took there last autumn.

    1. Los Angeles, CA: I have been there twice for the National Braille Challenge. I love seeing all the sites there. Both times we were there we took a Hollywood bus tour. It was so much fun!
    2. Los Vegas, Nevada: Love all the entertainment and the resorts that make it so famous.
    3. (of course) Hawai`i Nei! So many reasons why...
    a. 'olelo Hawai'i
    b. Hawaiian music
    c. hula
    d. Hawaiian culture
    e. lu'au, lu'au, lu'au!
    f. kama'aina to wala'au with... uh yeah! lol

So Akrauth...why then do they put braille on drive up ATM tellers?

<modestly> thank you. the fact that I was a pro for a few years may add to my good "eye" but that was many years ago. now I just do it for fun.

Thanks for taking that tree outta the right side. I saw that one after I posted it but I was just too lazy to crop it out. As you can tell that little cropping makes a tremendous difference in how a photo presents itself.

Good eye anapuni808 I actually left that one in there as a test to anyone who may have stumbled across it. Yeah right

Oh yeah, many areas there are like that. Hubby's parents live there and they ain't camping unless you have to find an enclosed camping spot...Crazy people!
