What's the deal with SP elitist attitude towards UH teams? USC is known for O.J Simpson and Prince carrying a pocket full of Trojans.

Musta been 1985...basketball...league championship...Hawaii School for Girls vs Kamehameha (iirc!)...last 3 seconds of the game...score is tied...and dang if Kamehameha doesn't commit a foul against HSG. I was operating a video camera as I always did at HSG games. Then I see the HSG player step up to the free throw line. A championship was hinging on one of 2 shots making it. I look again. It was MY kid at the line. I couldn't handle it so I hit the record button, disappeared under the bleachers and plugged my ears! When those in the bleachers above me erupted in cheer I knew eldest spawn didn't cave in under pressure like her mom did!

ESPN had a segment with a similiar story about a high school student hitting clutch free throws at the end of their state's girl h.s championship game. That player with ice water in her veins under pressure. Her name is Sarah Palin.

I heard an announcer calling a USC- Oregon State game once. At one point he shouted that the Beavers had halted the Trojans penetration. No lie.
