49ers are my favorite team, too. I was too young to witness the days of Joe Montana, but my first football memory was the 49ers winning the Super Bowl in 1994. I was 8 or 9

I think they have a real shot of winning 6-8 games this year. They have an improved O-line, more offensive threats with the additions of Vernon Davis and Brandon Williams, and Alex Smith looked really good last week against Da Bears (yeah, I know it was just preseason, but still...).

Anyways, my Super Bowl prediction: Denver Broncos vs Carolina

Yes! I've been a 49ers Fan for many years! When I gambled (cough,cough) Football - I bet on dem. I made out well when they were Champs and Joe Montana was the Quarterback! Many years ago.

Bill Parcels is just about the ONLY coach in the NFL who has any chance of controlling T.O. Parcels reputation as a violent a$$hole of a man is widely known in the NFL. It's this kind of strict environment that is the only thing that can save Owens career.

Under Parcells, it is likely that Owens will have a career year.

I'm all about early predictions, but I'm still waiting to see how a few of the preseason position battles play out, so give me a week or so. I do really, really like Aaron Brooks throwing to Randy Moss, Doug Gabriel, Jerry Porter, and LaMont Jordan, though. That could be a killer O.
