The title is a homage To RW. The title could have been Seatbeat Law for Dogs. But, that would be a too vanilla title.

Ooops link doesn't work.

I've been told of cases where the vehicle's human occupants had been seat-belted, while having a dog with them.
A bad accident occurred and the loose dog flying around killed folks.
Jus' sayin'.

In any event the link points to an article about a law in New Jersey that a motorist can be fined if a pet riding in their car is unrestrained. This law wasn't recently passed either, its been around for 16 years according to the article.

yahoo has REALLY been dropping the ball on hat is considered "breaking news" for the past couple of months. . .in particular, that HUGE(largest swimming pool in the world) that is in Chile, they had that up for 3 days, and that was from like 2006.

Dogs on your lap.

It is also a violation in Hawaii for your dog to ride on your lap and HPD is in enforcement mode. My spouse got a "warning" ticket today.
