    Re: Education Works has moved

    I kinda figured most people thot it just went out of business so when I saw it while passing on the bus and it was so tiny compared to the DOLE store which got tons of attention from moviegoers it seemed to deserve a mention, the owner or Mgr. is a nice lady so I hope this works out for her.

    I vaguely remember Film Services Hawaii. I might have even done business there once upon a time, but that was so long ago, back when there was such a thing as film.

    Though it was a cute little store, I always thought that Dole Cannery site was a strange place for such a school supply store. It seems that space would be better suited to a business that was more compatible to a movie-going crowd (like a restaurant or café, for example).

    The business and the Cannery are owned by Servco, so it's unlikely it was a rent issue. The airport location is actually a return (of sorts) to its original home. It used to be in a space attached to the Servco Toyota building in Mapunapuna; before that, it was in that mall that used to be the abandoned Gibson's building, where it existed even in the Gibson's days as Film Services Hawaii or something like that.

    Thanks for the heads-up; I hadn't heard about its relocation.

    Education Works has moved

    This neat school supplies store used to be next to the DOLE Theaters in Iwilei, but maybe rent got too high and they've moved to a smaller store near the airport;
