Tamifulu....at full recommended WHO/CDC dosage guidelines there currently exists enough TamiFlu to cover LESS THAN 1 PERCENT (0.72%)of the US population.

      food for thought... scary huh?

I don't, exactly, understand what 'attutude' it is, that you're trying to convey?

You know, wid your first 'crack' at me, I had to restrain my fingers, to keep them polite....they were screaming to type "Den, Die...Sucker!"...but, I figger dass jess the way da guy is. Live and let live. Or, in my case, live and hope that others live, too.

An now, you doin em, again.

So what, Glen....you prepping, or not? Cause, believe it, or not, THAT is the point of this thread.

Nice place, dis. LOTS of aloha.

Okay...here's some more GLOBAL flu information for you.

Indonesia has begun quarantine, of the people/village where the latest family cluster has happened.

Siberia has quarantined four areas, where birds have been found to be sick...it's not too clear, just yet, if people have been sickened.

              Romania is continuing quarantine.

The WHO is getting very concerned that BF (bird flu) has reached a point where it can easily pass fromm human to human to human.

It's time to really start thinking that this could become a pandemic, with all the nightmares becoming reality. PLEASE go out now, before panic sets in, and prep. Prepping is expensive, and takes alot of time and energy. THINK ABOUT IT!

                Re: Deadly Flu Virus

The World Health Organization (UN's WHO), has put the makers of Tamiflu on alert. Something must be VERY worrying, in Indonesia.

Go and prep. (Yes, I'm TELLING you to do it)

IF human to human BF transmission happens, now, in Indonesia.....AND the recent earthquake disrupts services/transport.....HOW will a 'Tamiflu Blanket' (which may/may not work against BF) be implemented?

                    Re: Deadly Flu Virus

Indonesia (actually, the UN'S World Health Organization) has gone past asking the makers of Tamiflu to 'maybe' hold some for them, and has asked for it to be shipped, ASAP.

Roumania has 88 confirmed, and 23 suspected cases (birds).

So....anyone watch Oprah? It's an old show, lots has happened, since then.

The ECDC...that's the European Center for Disease Control...has but it's nations in high gear, for a pandemic. Not that you'd notice, in this small French town.

There is another human BF suspected case in Indonesia. This one is a nurse, who has never had chicken contact, but DID help to take care of two of the recent BF human cases, in the hospital, where she works.

There's a big pocket of Hawai`i in the Puget Sound region these days; lots of folks here from the Islands, who still live by Island ways to the best of their abilities (and many have been kind enough to include me in their lives, though I am not from Hawai`i.)

Hello, I'm back, after a long weekend, spent fishing.

There's another family cluster in Indonesia.
