It's not a hoax, either. Look up "cephalic exchange transplantation in the monkey"---it's an article in a "Surgery" medical journal from July, 1971.

But I must say it's kinder and gentler than the live-monkey-brain-eating that a friend said her mother witnessed on a visit to China. OMG.

At least Dr. White used anesthesia.

Gee, I saw this thread title and figured CraigWatanabe had met my ex-wife. Then I saw Blueyecicle's "Gross" comments and figured she'd met my ex too.
