No (excessive) Photoshop needed here. Just have to wake up before the sun does.

Congrats, Kaonohi! Pretty! I am a sucker for birds, especially water birds. I was so glad to see herons here; they are cool birds.

                The ginger flowers are Beautiful!

                Love the mountain pic, too.

Of the three, Ahuimanu Valley is my favorite. The knife edge mountainside has nice highlights and shadows. The curve of the fence/road blend with the curves in the grassy area.

                  Welcome to the thread, Kaonohi

Photos cannot do justice to this sight, and many others on this island.

I wish I could get better images of the magnificent surf happening today. Right this minute I am looking at a surfer sliding down the surface of a giant wave...no, wait, that's just his zigzag wake. I cannot see the surfer 'cause he is too small to see on the surface of the wave. That's how big they are.

So, instead of surf pics, here's a few more from Kaua`i.

I like the Koi picture. Nice contrast and color saturation. The multiple waterfalls are neat.

Actually, what's really nice about the Koi picture is all the twisting fish bodies packed together. It's got action. And since they're breaking the surface, the water has interesting texture.

                                Nice pics, Cyleet
