Re: R.I.P. Charles Marsland
This may sound strange but I think it's wonderful that he passed on his birthday. It's kind of a "full circle" thing, I think...an aid to closure over the loss of a loved one. Dunno why I feel that way, tho'. Just, that I do!
And, yes, RIP Mr. Marsland and may you reunite with your son on the other side. Condolences to the Marsland family.

Marsland battled criminals, judges
By Rod Ohira and Jim Dooley
"Former Honolulu Prosecutor Charles Marsland Jr., an aggressive and outspoken crimefighter who regularly clashed with local politicians and judges, died Wednesday at his Hawai'i Kai home on his 84th birthday.
"Chuck brought a lot of issues to public light — pornography, murder, organized crime — and made the discussion of crime a No. 1 issue," said Keith Kaneshiro, a former Marsland deputy who succeeded Marsland as prosecutor."
Charles Marsland was a man of guts who believed in truth and stuck by it.
Rest in Peace Charles Marsland.
