  • Easy Rider

I have been looking closely at this film, and am seeing more than

I used to. It's pace is little slow by the standards of today, but a

slow appraisal brings much to mind.

There is a sort of diary encoded there.

The choice of camera people was critical to the film.

There are some really long shots that must have used some Tele Athenars.

The visual narrative is fairly uncluttered and a view of of American culture

as seldom seen before, is presented to the attentive viewer.

The only part I truly hate is the end of the movie.

It is too nihilistic for my taste.

Was this movie that made Jack Nicholson a big star?

          In a sense, yes.

The portions of the film in which the young lawyer illustrates how to

get out of jail free should be mandatory viewing for budding defense attorneys.
