One of the previews shown before the Speed Racer movie is for a movie called Star Wars: The Clone Wars which opens on August 15, 2008. It's an animated film taking place between the 2nd and 3rd episode of the Star Wars movie series.

I think this is defintely a great idea!

The whole story of the Clone Wars was not really done in the movies.

Even more important, and perhaps more significant to the audience on an emotional level, is the relationship between Anakin and Obi Wan Kenobi. The movie explored it a little but not enough to make the "impact" of Obi Wan "killing" Anakin huge.

I for one am looking forward to this!

Albert and I saw this movie at Ward today.

Not a great movie but not a stinker either.

Let's hope the tv series has a better plot.
