I hope that comes with shoyu.

BTW, does anyone remember the old Bon-Bon restaurant on Alakea?
They used to have the BEST portugese omlette!

      There's leftovers for tomorrow.

Either smoked salmon (& rice), or chicken w/red potatoes (w/broth & rice).

      I NEED my rice!

Helen, you like chicken salad sandwiches and diet coke, yeah? I must admit that they are delicious, but I can't go more than two days having the same thing for breakfast. I, too, have an addiction to diet coke - I get headaches if I go without at least 12 ounces a day.

Today it was a buttered english muffin, some vanilla yogurt, and a few strawberries. I went light this morning due to my indulgence at the buffet yesterday for lunch.

The 2nd half of yesterday's lunch at the Harbor Pub...veggie sandwich on a whole wheat roll...delish. Oh, and half a peach and a cup of green tea.

                            OMG, Helen!

We should start a canned-food drive for you.

(I'm j/k of course) ... but diet soda?

                            You poor thing!

                            Now THAT sounds good.

Here is this morning's variation on yesterday's work. It might not look too different in photo, but it sure TASTES different with extra green onion and when you mix a little Kikkuman shoyu with the broken egg yokes then stir it all together. YUMMY!

When I used to smoke hawaiian tobacco (back in the late 1970's and early 1980's), this combo was a winner at 1:00 or 2:00am at Like-Like Drive-In.

They don't make it the same way anymore, that's why I had to learn how to do it for myself. In fact, it seems like EVERYBODY forgot how, even Kin Wah Chop Suey not the same.

                            Strange!
