What's for Breakfast - Chapter 2

Pandacakes...as my son calls them...at 12 noon! My kids slept til 10!! woohoo!

Ua 'ai au i ka 'aina kakahiaka me ko'u 'ohana i keia la. (I ate breakfast with my family today.) It was actually celebrating the First Advent. Here's a list of what I had:

assorted cheeses
salmon with cream cheese
a steamed bagle with cream cheese
two sausages
and finally, some Christmas cookies.

I stopped by a donut place today that I don't normally stop by, looked at their smoothie varieties and was excited to see a TARO SHAKE! So I ordered it, was ono to da max!



The woman behind the counter and I got talking about taro and I talked about my love for poi. She asked, "What is poi?" So I describe what it is and she asks, "How do you cook it?"

5 pc. inari from the Kailua Sushiman, one apple banana from Kahuku (congrats Red Raiders!), and a glass of Coca-Cola.

Scrambled eggs, Sausage, Cinnamon toast and 100% whole milk.
Now I can start my day with energy!

A toasted bagel, cream cheese and lox, a cup of Mocha Java coffee and the Sunday newspaper.

Finishing up the half bag of Chocolate Chip Mac Nut Cookies and a bottle of Mountain Dew.

As soon as I get off the computer, breakfast will be Ozoni -- because it's New Year's Day.

Turkey hash with poached eggs, whole wheat toast and cuppa SBUX Xmas Blend java.

2 eggs over easy topped with just a bit of shredded cheddar, fresh fruit bowl topped with lemon yogurt...and a cup of decaf green tea.

Nice and simple start to the year:
