strawberry yogurt bar and a starbucks light iced coffee. *sigh* i guess i should resign myself to the fact on weekdays, my beau often has better breakfast eats than i do.

Bottle of Mountain Dew for now. Got an event later on this morning that should have food. Also when editing this post a co-worker just dropped off a Hong Kong bun.

And you are taking some of us with you in the process (see my "what's for lunch" entry today - I thought of you when I ordered it.)

Spam Musubi, home made. Some plain, some sato-shoyu style for the benefit of my daughter's friend who slept over last night.

She's from Cali. ... and has really taken to local culture (to the degree that she's been exposed to it). She loves rice and gravy, for instance!

There's an occasional mis-step however, which gives us all a good laugh ... like the time she called herself a "Nola" girl ... (she meant 'Nalo). LOL! How cute is that!? She was at the house at the time, so it was a safe environment in which to slip up.

Gotta go get the rice cooled off, slice up the Spam and mix some shoyu and sugar ... maybe I'll throw in some Mirin, too.
