I like the new Cingular Wireless commercial parody of the movie.
    I'm still here. Are you?

I'm not sure, but if I had to guess, I'd say it's prolly about Gremlins.

j/k . Bad joke. It was a movie that came out in the 80's, set during Xmas, about these mischievous little creatures (aka Gremlins) that go apeshit on a town. If you can get past the weak graphics (it's an old movie), it's real good fun. I wore out my VHS copy watching it when I was a keiki.

      My faves:
      - A Christmas Story - "Deck the halls with boughs of horry, fa-ra-ra-ra, ra-ra-ra-ra." LOL
      - How the Grinch Stole Christmas
      - Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - I always liked that claymation thingy.
      - Die Hard

Heh. Thanks for the news bulletin. It's in our TiVo now.

I want my kids to appreciate the classics. Of course, they also know we love "A Christmas Story," on the basis of which they also know we're a bit touched in the head.

            3. A Christmas Carol
            4. Charlie Brown Christmas
            5. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (another tear jerker!)

Scrooged - not least because of Carol Kane's demonic/manic angel and Bill Murray's heartless, ratings driven TV executive Scrooge. Oh, and I can't forget the Annie Lenox and Al Green rendition of "Put a little love in your heart".

Love Actually - secret fondness for anything with Hugh Grant and catchy pop music. I know, I know...it's a guilty pleasure.

The original cartoon version of the The Grinch.

Yes, indeed. He got whacked good by her a number of times. The toaster scene is absolutely hilarious. This is not your sweetness and light Christmas tale and by today's standards is incredibly politically incorrect - I love it.

My fav Christmas movie is It's a Wonderful Life. I also like the SNL version ending with the Bailey's taken their revenge physically on the evil banker Potter.
