I used to agree with much of the Libertarian approach, but now I realize without firm governmental controls individual and corporate avarice and negligence would lay waste to the world [just as they are doing now because governmental controls aren't adequate or timely]. Don't get me wrong, I believe in the basic goodness of individuals, but one bad apple (or misdirected 'good' intention) CAN spoil the whole barrel when it's left there to rot.
I really thought I'd be voting Democratic this year, but not if Hillary is the candidate (unless she's going up against Huckabee).
