Near Death Experience?

I am very fascinated by near death experiences. I have never had one, but has anyone here had one? Has anyone you've known had one?

Some scientists say that it is only a reaction when the brain is deprived of oxygen, or an effect of various drugs. What do you think about the subject? Do you think it happens?

I don't know if this counts, but one time while riding TheBus home, a car would have struck the bus I was riding in (probably in the area I was sitting in if it was angled perfectly) but the bus didn't make it through the yellow light in time. A few seconds later, a car that passed us when we stopped got t-boned by an idiot driver who ran a red light. The bus driver got out and rendered aide, and went back to the bus terminal to report it.
