      2006 Elections!

Kawaihae caves collapsing, becoming a danger for 'iwi poachers and black market ephemera dealers to loot (Hawaiian pov: the earthquakes on the BI is a sign that the kupuna have spoken).

      Getting healthier.

          • A hurricane-free season in Hawaii (although a few close calls as usual)
          • Winning UH Warrior football season
          • Strong local economy and low unemployment (tourism & construction)
          • Good personal health & well-being
          • Completed 70% of home renovation project (not bad for a procrastinator)

Some great things happened in 2006

                go! Airlines $29 interisland flights
Meeting all you wonderful people at the Christmas Party
Taking my daughter to U2 and then this weekend to Billy Joel
Seeing Brenda Ford beat Virginia Isbell for the county council seat on Hawaii

Adding clarity to some of my views on various issues by getting bounced around by you people here at Hawaii Threads - Most especially sovereignty, the Politics of NO, racial harmony, and open mindedness.
