My grandson, Antonio suffers from Asthma. We almost lost him several months ago. That should have stopped me from SMOKING but it didn't. I did for a little while but started again.
This past week Antonio got another bout with Asthma. I quit cold turkey. Today makes five days. No problems except for headaches which is decreasing. Each time, I give my grandson a treatment, I become stronger.
I've eating a lot of snacks.heheheh No matter...I use all the energy. Soon the Fireworks will begin. Everyone knows I hate fireworks.
I haven't be able to smell for several months. I'm waiting for an appointment to see a specialist. This morning another miracle happen on my fifth day of not smoking. I can SMELL again.
This thread is about Children with Asthma. Anyone else have a child or children with Asthma? What do you do to make easier for them? Antonio will stay still and be patient a little for treatment. Den he fights me. He grabs the mouth piece and yanks it away from him. I struggle with him to give him his full dose every time. He takes his spray willingly.
Just a hint of a cold makes me worry. A sniffle, a cough sets off a red flag. It's hard when a child has Asthma. His little chest like a pigeon gasping for air. My two daughters suffered from Childhood Asthma too. I hope and pray Antonio grows out of it.
K-den. Suggestions and advice are appreciated.
