I was born in the states, but raised in Australia, was in Hawaii last year to get my social security number etc sorted out as I am a duel citizen, went down to the social security building and was blown away by how rude every one was, except this one older guy working security, this guy was larger than life such a cool character, just seemed to fill the room and take away the mundane drab feeling that such places are infested with, he was a true dude!!
