Cirque du Soleil's Saltimbanco is in town (...) I've never seen a real Cirque show (...) There was an email from a client/friend. They have an extra ticket for TONIGHT and do I want to go with them...for FREE!!! As my dad woulda said..."Is the Pope a Catholic?"!

I saw the original production many moons ago and absolutely loved it. So of course I'm curious now, Tutu... how did you like it?

Sorry to hear what happened, but I'm glad you'll get another shot at it. Soon, I hope! We'll be looking forward to your opinion.
(And sorry I missed the earlier post, but I'm not much of a movie buff at all. Other than going to the premier showing of the sailing movie "Morning Light" a couple of weeks ago, I literally can't remember the last time I went to see a movie. Probably because my standards are so high -- I feel that the greatest movie ever made was "In Search Of The Holy Grail." And second best movie ever was "Blazing Saddles." )

No thread drift here. Thinking about Monty Python was the best part of today.

Chinatown tour! It was cool to experience Chinatown thru Auntie's experience. I learned some things I never knew, saw some things I never noticed, and got to appreciate Chinatown in a new way.

And on the way home we found a good Greek place, and had some great falafel sandwiches...mmmmmmmm.

Got to do a harbor cruise out at Keehi Lagoon today!
Thoroughly enjoyed the day aboard my friends 28' sailboat.
On thy back to the dock we happened upon a 14' fishing boat.
We ended up towing them to the boat ramp since their engine quit.
It's great when a good deed equals fun. Really liked talking with the guy.

I'm up just for a bit.

Yes. Best Part of Today was giving my Chinatown Tour to Seeking Penance, Beau, TurtleGirl, and Sven. Stopping for some water and sprite at Club Kekai's. Plus singing couple of songs. heheheh

But it didn't end there.

SP, Beau and I went to my hale to pick-up picnic supplies and t-bone steaks, ny steak. We stopped at Foodland for potato/macaroni salad, rice, chips, water, ice-tea, some noodles salad and pastele. And Ice.

We went to Magic Island and had ourselves a picnic.

SP suggested we head out to Kaena Point Park to watch the sunset. So we did. It was beautiful. I'll post pictures tomorrow.
